Hello, I’m Adrie-Anne.
You don’t have to have the right words, have everything figured out, or hide the parts of yourself that feel difficult to share.
You can come as you are.
I offer support to adults navigating trauma, anxiety and OCD, narcissistic abuse, family scapegoating, childhood emotional neglect, and the heavy patterns that take root when you have spent a long time feeling unseen, blamed, or misunderstood.
I believe every person deserves to be cared about, seen and heard without judgment. I genuinely want to understand you beyond what you're struggling with: the things that have shaped you, what matters most to you, and what healing looks like for you. I believe healing often begins when someone feels truly seen and accepted.
I am willing to sit with the difficult parts of life with you: the fear, shame, guilt, anxiety, confusion, and the parts of yourself you've had to hide just to get through. Not because those things define you, but because they often hold important information about what you have experienced, what you have needed and what you still need now.
One of the greatest privileges of my work is watching someone begin to see themselves differently, reconnect with their worth, gain clarity about who they are and what they have been through, and begin to see a different path forward.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy music, art, reading, writing, travelling, camping, horseback riding, spending time near the ocean, and playing with my dogs.
I value quiet moments, meaningful conversations, creativity, and the simple things that bring joy and connection. I also enjoy a good laugh, a good pizza, and appreciating the little moments that make life meaningful.
I have a Master of Counselling degree from Briercrest Seminary and am registered as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA #3793) as well as Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA #10001293).
I bring over a decade of experience supporting adults with complex trauma, anxiety, difficult relationships, and the patterns that develop when your needs have not been understood or respected.
My work is informed by extensive training in trauma, EMDR, attachment, OCD, and narcissistic abuse recovery. My professional credentials and training are listed below.
